RAMPANTLY Comedy Network is a people-powered comedian community and virtual platform for the collective production, promotion, and preservation of digital and live virtual comedy. Through our ongoing calendar of nightly mics, quarterly marathons, and community events, we aim to uplift our members with the tools, time, space, and visibility to develop their own voice, build their own brand, and establish their career in the new and emerging art form of virtual entertainment.
Membership is free and open to individuals worldwide with a demonstrated interest in writing, performing, and/or producing comedy. In addition to serving as a launchpad for new shows, RAMPANTLY also offers free virtual production tools, cross-promotional space, and design/branding assistance to members with existing shows.
RAMPANTLY Comedy was founded in Los Angeles, California, in October 2019 as a virtual platform for the organic cross-promotion of indie comedy shows. Upon the outbreak of the Covid Pandemic in April 2020, the platform's mission grew to encompass the collective development of live-streamed virtual comedy mics, the establishment of a global performer community, and the cultivation of up-and-coming comedic talent. The platform was incubated in Oberlin, Ohio, with production outposts in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Boston, Washington DC, and Chicago. In February 2022, RAMPANTLY was invited to migrate to the Center for Poetic Justice.
The look and feel of the RAMPANTLY platform today, including its various free production and promotional tools, meme generator, virtual background customizer, message boards, and app, are all the product of thousands of hours of volunteer contribution in real time to develop the tools our performers needed to grow their comedy brands while remaining independent proprietors of their own careers. It is our mission to uplift inspired talent with the support they need to discover their purpose and grow in their belief about how their comedy can impact and shape the world.
Together, in our first year of operation (May 19, 2020 - May 31, 2021) we worked with more than 50 hosts and 1,300 comedians. We ran more than 350 shows and 100+ live-streamed marathon and festival hours, launched 20 recurring comedy mics, and slotted nearly 5,000 acts on the Rampantly website. We held nine monthly meetings and offered more than $600 in profit-sharing to our members.
Join us in our 2021-2022 season as we continue to stake our claim to the new, emerging fields of digital and live virtual entertainment and provide an incubator, launchpad, and development platform for independent stand-up comedy performers and projects worldwide.
As of July 1, 2021, RAMPANTLY Comedy comprises more than 1,300 registered members worldwide.

Joli Rx - Philadelphia, PA
Joli is the Founder of the RAMPANTLY Comedy platform and Founding Director of Laugh.Social, home of the Laugh Pages and the Laugh Map.
Joli founded her first comedy production company, Jolly Productions, with her best friend Molly Brackin in middle school in 1999. She began performing stand-up comedy in 2012 and has studied improv and sketch-writing at the Philly Improv Theater and red nose clown at The Pig Iron School. Before shifting gears and becoming a digital nomad in 2018, Joli spent ten years teaching arts and administrating arts- and performance-integrated school and community programs, with a focus on public art, aesthetics, museum studies, and project-based learning. She has been an active player in the stand-up scenes of Philadelphia, Austin, Eugene, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and the great comedy lounge in the sky (Zoom).
Aaron Ring - New York, NY
Aaron is a Founding Member and Associate Producer of RAMPANTLY Comedy and host of RAMPANTLY 's Blue Annex.
Aaron is a writer and performer who’s been dabbling in comedy since forever. He was a founding member of the Brandeis University sketch group Boris's Kitchen, now in its 33rd year. Aaron's work has been been featured on both sides of the Atlantic—on stage, screen, radio and in print—including the McSweeneys anthology Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans. He’s been doing stand-up regularly for four years and co-produces NYC's The Nice Guys Show with Kayt Hester. He founded Rampantly's signature weekly joke workshop, Blue Annex, in July 2020.
David Parsons - Dallas, TX
David is an Associate Producer and Chairman of the Board of RAMPANTLY Comedy and host of RAMPANTLY 's Red Mic.
London-born comedian David Parsons joined Rampantly Comedy in July 2020, co-founding Rampantly's second weekly open mic, The Red Mic. David can be found at The Comedy Arena in McKinney, TX, and co-producing. live and virtual shows with Charlotte Parker as Wild Beaver Productions.
Charlotte Parker- Dallas, TX
Charlotte is a Producer and Organizing Member of RAMPANTLY Comedy and host of RAMPANTLY 's Red Mic.
Charlotte Parker is a stand-up comedian, actress, and theater teacher who appears at clubs around Dallas/Fort Worth. Along with David Parsons, she co-founded Rampantly's second-longest-running show, The Red Mic, in September 2020. She also co-produces shows with David as Wild Beaver Productions.
Richard Chassler- Los Angeles, CA
Richard is an Associate Producer of RAMPANTLY. Comedy and host of Splitsville, Gold Mic, and Richard Chassler's Comedy Bible Friday Night Spectacular.
Richard is a career comedian, accomplished voice-over actor, and award-winning film-maker, who has brought such names to Rampantly as Alonzo Bodden, Wendy Liebamn, Gabe Abelson, Frazer Smith, Jann Karam, Felicia Michaels, and more. Richard has toured extensively, performing in 49 out of 50 states. and abroad, and appearing on Comedy Central, MTV, VH1., and two Academy Award nominated films! Richard joined Rampantly in January 2021 and has since co-produced numerous events including The 2021 #LV420Fest and Comeday 2021 24-hr International Joke Day Marathon.
